Lakemoor Hills Garden Club Neighborhood Plant Sale!
Lakemoor Hills Garden Club neighborhood plant sale!
* WHEN – October 23rd (4-7 pm) and 24th (10-12 am)
* WHERE – Lakemoor Legacy Park and Gardens at the end of Circle Lake Ln.
* HOW can you help? How can you benefit?
As you prepare your gardens for winter, look for a few plants to dig and/or separate and place in pots to donate to the plant sale. We’d love to have a wide variety of plants from our own community gardens to share with our neighbors at a VERY reasonable price (cheap, but not shabby:).
Important: Masks and social distancing will be expected of attendees.
What kind of plants could you contribute?
> perennials of all shapes, sizes and colors
> volunteer shrubs or trees that have sprung up uninvited
> bulbs, ground covers or other interesting plants you have successfully grown
If you are unable to dig plants but have some interesting ones to contribute, please let us know and we will gladly assist you by identifying and digging a few plants.
What’s the next step?
Just open the attached contribution form, read it for instructions on how to complete it, return it, and how to deliver your plants prior to the sale. Let us know what you have in your garden that you are willing to share to enhance someone else’s yard or garden.
Return the contribution form to Fran Thomforde ASAP by email or U.S. Mail.

We want to post a complete inventory of what plants will be available at the sale and to create descriptions and labels for the plants to help the buyers. So try to have your form to us by October 5th.
If you can’t contribute plants, we encourage you to attend the sale. There will be “gate prizes”, a silent auction of garden items from local nurseries and good fellowship.
If you are unable to attend, any monetary contribution would be happily accepted and sincerely appreciated. Just make check payable to LHGC and send to the above address. All funds from the sale will go to continue developing the Legacy Park, Bluff Point Boulevard and other projects that beautify our neighborhood. Thank you for your anticipated support!
