SEPTEMBER 20 – Fall Social
- 6:30pm-9pm
 - Enjoy a fun evening with Garden Club friends and guests. Barb-B-Que Dinner. RSVP required. Respond to invitation you receive in the mail. Tickets are $20 per person.
 
October 17 – Fall Craft/ Gourd Painting
- 10 am at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church
 - We will gather at the church for our monthly meeting followed by participating in painting and decorating cute birdhouse gourds for your mantel or other vignettes.
 
NOVEMBER 21 – Plants For The Holidays
- 10 am at Stanley’s Greenhouse (2029 Davenport Rd.)
 - Speaker: Abby Stanley
 - Along with the Chapman Highway Garden Club we will gather at Stanley’s to learn more about decorative plants and flowers for the holiday season. Light refreshments included.
 
DECEMBER 3 – Mailbox Toppers Workshop
- 10am
 - Join us as we make decorations for the mailboxes and door swags for the neighborhood
 
DECEMBER 19 – Christmas Holiday Luncheon
- 10 am
 - Dress in holiday attire and join the fun for our annual Christmas potluck luncheon. Bring a wrapped “garden” themed gift for the Dirty Santa Christmas gift swap.

JANUARY 16 – Rewinding, Giving Nature a Second Chance
- 10 am at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church
 - Speaker: Connie Wallace
 - Have you ever thought of going back to nature? Connie Wallace will explain the pros and cons of going “wild”.
 
FEBRUARY 20 – What’s In a Gardener’s Toolbox
- 10 am at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church
 - Speaker: Mary Albrecht
 - As we approach the start of the gardening season Mary will do a show and tell about various garden tools and their advantages. We will also discuss garden tool maintenance.
 
MARCH 20 – Garden Work Day
- 10:00am at Rachef Garden (1943 Tennessee Ave.)
 - We will meet at Rachef Garden for our monthly meeting followed by a workday to assist with weeding and garden upkeep. Refreshments following.
 
APRIL 17 – Flower Arranging Class/ Installation of new officers
- 10:00am Lake Hills Presbyterian Church
 - Speaker: Holli Rogers
 - Holli Rogers will lead the group in a flower arranging class! The Garden Club will collect vases and greenery and attendees can bring flowers to contribute. Created your beautiful flower arrangement to take home.
 
MAY 15 – Farm South
- Meet at 10 am at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church
 - Speaker: Melanie Maples- Harris
 - Inspired by her uncle’s 1955 grocery store and her background as an agricultural teacher, Harris has created s South Knoxville community hub showcasing local flowers and artisians. Farm South offers a variety of items including handmade soaps, quilts, jewelry, fresh produce and more. Melanie will share her vision with us.
 
JUNE 19 – Garden Tour
- 10 am at Bernie McNabb Garden
 - Back up, UT Gardens
 - We will meet at Lake Hills Church to carpool to Hardin Valley to tour Bernie’s magnificent garden located on the shore of Loudoun Lake.
