Funding Our Projects

Our fundraisers help support the ongoing garden club projects.  The 2020 Fall Plant Sale provided a place for neighbors to exchange plants while supporting the club.  The Annual Fall Pecan Sale provides the freshest pecans available each year to people throughout our metropolitan area.  The Christmas Mailbox Toppers are created by Garden Club members and decorate mailboxes and entries throughout Lakemoor Hills.  We are also grateful to accept any donations directly to the garden club or through the neighborhood 501 (c) 3 Lakemoor Hills Resource Council.

DOGWOOD TRAIL BOWS

Each April the neighborhood adorns their mailboxes with the pink and green bows to celebrate the Dogwood trails that run through our neighborhood.  The Garden Club members offer these bows for $5 starting on Neighborhood Cleanup Day on 3rd Saturday in March.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PLANT SALE

Our first plant sale was held in October 2020 at Lakemoor Legacy Park and Garden.  The event included donations from local nurseries, residents and friends.  Individual plants were available as were gift packages of Pecan Cookbooks & pecans.

PECANS

Fresh and meaty Georgia pecans are available each November through the Garden Club.  You may order halves (as shown) or get pre-chopped 1 lb. bags.

These festive mailbox toppers and door swags are created by Garden Club members in early December and are offered for $20 each.
