Dear Neighbors-

Just a few newsworthy items:

1)  We still don’t have a nominee for President for the next two-year term of officers/directors.  Please let me, or any of our other officers, know if you are interested or if you know another person who has agreed to run for that office.  As you might imagine, it will be hard to continue our association without a President.

2)  Our next general meeting is Tuesday, September 22, at 7 PM.

3)  The other County neighborhood fighting a cell tower – Fountain City – lost the MPC decision yesterday on a 8-5 vote.  They put up a good fight, but the cell tower company, Branch, prevailed.  Their community didn’t have quite the number of guideline violations that our neighborhood had, although they were a strictly residential community also.  I understand they will appeal to the City Council.

4)  Remember that to make sure your “all neighborhood” e-mails get to everyone, you need to log in to our site and post a message under the FORUM tab.  To respond to a message, you must also respond to the message within the site (click on the message link in the original message.)  We’ve had a lot of messages (lost pets, etc.) going to the “administrator” only.  Our webmaster is Clay AAlders, if you have any questions.
