If you enjoy Christmas music, I would like to invite you to come and enjoy the choir at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church as they present the Festival of Carols, a Christmas Cantata, tomorrow morning at 10:45. There are about 28 members of the choir, many of them live in this neighborhood. The Cantata has many familiar Carols plus a few new Christmas selections. The Chrismon tree is lit, the wreaths and holly are hung, the candles will be burning and the choir has practiced. Come and feel the Christmas Spirit.

David and I have a friend who has a close friend that is moving to Florida. She has two small Italian greyhounds that she wants to relocate to a good home as she cannot take them with her. They are 2-3 years old, shy and she wants them to stay together. One is black and called CharBaby; the other one is light gray and white and called Lurlene. Their owner is Sherry Phillips. To all of you who responded to my request for a caregiver for my friend’s mother, I thank you! She has successfully arranged a caregiver from your recommendations. This is a wonderfully caring neighborhood and I am so happy to be a part of it. Thanks to all of you!!

My friend needs someone to sit with her mother for 3 weeks (5-6 days each week) while my friend works. It could possibly be a little longer. Matt and Sally Boyington’s two dogs ran out the front door when the wind blew it open. They are both very large dogs. They are collared and tagged. Please help us find them:

Remmy, a female Rottweiler, is black with tan bowtie and socks, around 80 lbs.

Rascal, a male German Shephard mix, black and tan with thin face.

Yoga Classes are taking place in the fellowship hall at Lake Hills Church every Monday, 4:30-5:30 and every Thursday, 6:30-7:30. $10.00 for each class attended. No commitments, just come when you can. It is wonderful to stretch and strengthen the body during these cold winter months! Questions: Sharon Gerkin: 609-0002.

My sister-in-law is in need of some assistance. She is looking for a dependable individual that could help her 2-4 hours, approximately three days a week. The duties would include laundry, changing bed, meal organization, cat feeding, etc, and very light housework. Volunteers are needed to participate in “Trunk or Treat”! Just back up your decorated car, truck or wagon ready to distribute candy or other fun items for our little “TRUNK OR TREATERS”! There will be prizes for best trunks!

Get out your favorite recipe ready for our CHILI COOKOFF!! There will be prizes for the best chili and then a chili supper with all the “fixing”!!
