December 3, 2018 by Fran Thomforde

A big shout out to all who gathered at Legacy Park this morning to tame the leaves, sticks, and walnuts and plant a few daffodils. We will all benefit from their labors when spring arrives

Special thanks go out to “BlowKing” Fred Thomforde,  “Mighty Mulcher” Buzz Copeland, “Leaf Dumper” John “Deere” Haynes, “Rowdy Rakers” Bob Porter and Kristin Bianconi,  “Determined Digger” Randy Humble, and the “Daffodil Darling”, Kathy Proctor.  It’s going to be a seasonably nice week, so please go take a stroll around the park and enjoy their handiwork !!

Legacy Park at Circle Lake Cleanup

November 27, 2018 by Fran Thomforde

It’s “Giving Tuesday” and I want to extend an opportunity to contribute to our neighborhood’s beautification!  We are having a 2-hour clean-up at Legacy Park and Gardens on Circle Lake Ln. this Saturday morning, Dec. 1st, from 9:30 – 11:30.  Please join us for a bit of leaf raking / blowing, a game of pick-up sticks, and some daffodil planting on the sunny hillside.  Coffee and muffins will be provided.  Please bring your own tools, tarps for leaves, etc.  We could certainly use some strong men to help us load / unload the leaves and sticks.  Thanks to Buzz Copeland for offering his trailer for leaf and limb removal!  Giving is a Good Thing 🙂
