LHHA Renewals are Now Due
The Lakemoor Hills Homeowners Association has started its new fiscal year on September 1, 2021. Your renewal fee of $40 is now due. You should have just received your latest discounted billing from Waste Connections, if you subscribe to their service. Later this month I will be pulling the currently renewed members to submit to WCI for their next billing. Please get your renewal in to be on the active member list.
You can renew online at https://lakemoor.org/lhha/hoa-member-dues-renewal/. You do not have to have your password or log into the secure site to get to this link.
Or you can mail your renewal to:
Kathy Proctor, Treasurer
2429 Lakemoor Dr. Knoxville, TN 37920
And please join us September 21 at 7 PM at Lake Hill Church for our membership meeting. The church asks all to wear a mask.
FoxForce needs foxes!
Thanks for the outpouring of concern for our ailing foxes. If you have seen a fox in the last couple of weeks, text Mary Cartwright at (865)406-4111. Fox Force has volunteers, we have meds, but our fox population appears to have pretty much disappeared. We need help locating any remaining foxes. Please text the location of your fox and we’ll do our best to save it!
LHHA Membership Renewals Hit the Mailboxes Today
Your LHHA membership renewal requests should have landed in your mailbox today. Please renew or join for the first time to be a part of this great neighborhood organization. You may renew here on our website at www.lakemoor.org. or you can send in the membership renewal form in the enclosed return envelope. Dues are just $40 and are due by September 1, 2021.
We have our Fall Membership Meeting scheduled for September 21 at 7 PM at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church. Please join us, catch up with your neighbors and hear what is planned for our neighborhood.
Lakemoor Fox Force – You Can Help!
Our neighborhood foxes need your help. They are dying of the mange, and it’s a horrible painful death. If you have foxes in your yard or know where some are, you’re eligible for the neighborhood Fox Force. We’re a handful of concerned neighbors who want to ensure we have healthy foxes with frolicking kits next spring.
The treatment is straightforward. You put a small piece of food (meatball, boiled egg, wad of pet food, whatever seems foxworthy) out for your fox daily. After, your fox is taking the bait; you inject a bait ball with liquid Invermectin (we provide a loaded syringe). Keep baiting for a week, and then dose another bait ball. Repeat. So you’ll need to commit to about a month of fox baiting, that’s it.
If you have an ailing fox and are willing to save it, text Mary Cartwright at (865) 406-4111.
LHHA Membership Dues Renewals are In the Mail
Dear Lakemoor Hills neighbors,
It is time once again for our annual membership drive for the Lakemoor Hills Homeowner’s Association. Your $40 membership dues and participation are vital to the many benefits that our association brings to the neighborhood.
Each household will receive a renewal letter in the mail, but you are welcome to use this link to renew online. You can also renew online by going to our website https://lakemoor.org and selecting the HOA Dues and Renewal button at the top, left corner of the screen.
Also in the mailing is information about the Lakemoor Hills Resource Council, our 501 (c)3. Through this organization we have been able to accomplish a number of projects in the neighborhood such as resurfacing the tennis courts, the development of Lakemoor Legacy Park & Garden as well as others. Please read their information and consider a donation to help fund future projects.
We currently have a membership meeting scheduled for 7 PM on September 21 at Lake Hills Church. It will be great to see our neighbors again! Stay tuned for any updates.
Montlake Ramp to Open July 8
KNOXVILLE – Motorists traveling in Knox County should be aware of upcoming traffic changes along Alcoa Highway in Knox County.
Beginning on Thursday, July 8, the southbound ramp on Alcoa Highway to Montlake Drive will be opened. This will allow motorists direct access to the round-a-bout at Montlake Drive. Motorists will also be able to access Quiet Side Lane (previously Montlake Court), Woodson Drive, Barber Hill Drive and Mt. Vernon Drive, as well as businesses along Alcoa Highway northbound.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
