Montlake Ramp to Open July 8
Montlake Ramp to Open July 8
KNOXVILLE – Motorists traveling in Knox County should be aware of upcoming traffic changes along Alcoa Highway in Knox County.
Beginning on Thursday, July 8, the southbound ramp on Alcoa Highway to Montlake Drive will be opened. This will allow motorists direct access to the round-a-bout at Montlake Drive. Motorists will also be able to access Quiet Side Lane (previously Montlake Court), Woodson Drive, Barber Hill Drive and Mt. Vernon Drive, as well as businesses along Alcoa Highway northbound.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.

Dogwood Trails Open
The Dogwood Trails are officially open and visitors are driving our roads admiring the beauty of Lakemoor Hills. If you would still like a pink & green bow to adorn your mailbox, the Lakemoor Hills Garden Club has made them and they can be found at the home of Suzan Bowman at 3717 Maloney Rd. They are mounted on the fence under the large tree by her drive.
Holston Hills is the featured trail this year and is quite attractive. I encourage you to take a drive and see it. In 2022 Lakemoor Hills will host the featured trail, so we can see what we need to do to get ready.
Thank you all for helping make Lakemoor Hills a beautiful place to live.
