Lake Hills Church is having a Bluegrass and Potluck event on Sunday, November 8th beginning at 5 PM. The neighborhood is invited.

We will start with a potluck dinner, so bring a dish to share. Then settle in for a live performance by Tipton Station, a bluegrass band made up of South-Doyle students and alumni.

Come share a meal and enjoy some toe-tapping music with us! This evening is open to the whole community, and everyone is welcome, so bring your family, friends, and neighbors.

Good food, great music, and good company. Hope to see you there!

“Blessing of the Animals” service this Saturday 10 AM at Lake Hills Church

Lake Hills Church invites the community to join us THIS SATURDAY at 10 AM for our first “Blessing of the Animals“.

We will have free dog and cat treats for pets and coffee and water for pet parents.

Hello Friends … reminder tomorrow is the September Happy Hour 5:00 pm at Legacy Park. Our theme this month is “Celebrating Dolly Parton”. We are accepting donations of Toys (new), Toiletry Items (Travel size, new), Stuffed Animals (new) and Books (new), for Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital. Come sample yummy country cooking finger foods and a game with two great prizes. Make plans to join the fun at Happy Hour!

The Hospital needs:

Toiletry Items (Travel size, new)
Stuffed Animals (new)
Books (new)

Our theme this month is “Dolly Parton” with an appreciation of all things Dolly in remembrance of East Tennessee’s favorite daughter. We will have a Dolly-worthy Cocktail of the Month, a game and a cool prize 😉

If you have items that match the wish list above or can spare a few dollars to provide items, I will deliver donations to our contact, Brook, following the September Happy Hour. Please consider supporting this important and valuable resource for children in our community!
