Lost Cat “Lucky”
Next HOA Meeting?
I just checked the site calendar and didn’t see when the next HOA meeting was. I was unable to attend the last HOA meeting and was wondering when the next meeting is scheduled.
Neighborhood Cleanup Day – March 28
We will hold the annual NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP DAY on March 28 from 9 – 12 AM. Volunteers will meet at the Lake Hills Church parking lot to receive their assignments and tools at 9 AM. The pink and green mailbox bows will also be available for purchase ($3) to adorn your street during Dogwood Art Festival. Pizza will be served at 11:30 in the church pavilion. If you have questions, call Kathy Proctor at 599-7783 or [email protected]. Thank you for helping make Lakemoor Hills beautiful!
2 Lost Dogs (Again) ;(((
Hi all. Wendy Ryan again. Our 2 dogs have managed to get out of our fence again. If you see them please let us know. Sally is a big white Great Pyrenees and Oliver is a little reddish colored Lab mix.

114 Neighborhoods to be Represented at The Neighborhood Conference
Early Bird Deadline Tuesday at Noon
All,
Please forward this email to your networks!
Some 114 city and county neighborhoods and neighborhood organizations are now represented by the 467 people signed up for The Neighborhood Conference as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday night. The list of these groups follows this message.
This is a free event for both city and county neighborhoods — with free continental breakfast, free box lunch, door prizes, 32 workshops, 81 information booths, presentation of the Good Neighbor of the Year Award, a chance to meet various elected officials, and opportunities to learn from other neighborhoods and a wealth of community resources.
Less than two days are left to register for The Neighborhood Conference to be held this coming Saturday, March 7, at the Knoxville Convention Center. If you register by noon Tuesday, March 3, you will be guaranteed a box lunch, conference notebook, and printed name tag. Walk-in registrations will still be accepted on the day of the conference.
Because we are encouraging youth participation in this conference, registration will be held open for young people 18 or under until 8 a.m. Thursday, March 5. But this applies to young folks only.
See you Saturday!

YEA!!! Found Our 2 Dogs
Thanks to everyone who called so quickly about our 2 dogs. We just picked them up and they are glad to be back home! The Ryan family is very grateful indeed!
Have a great weekend!
2 Lost Dogs. Great Pyrenees & Hound Mix
Hello Everyone,
This is Wendy Ryan, 3808 Maloney Rd. Our 2 dogs ran off this evening and we are desperately trying to locate them. One is a Great Pyrenees (big white fluffy dog) named Sally. She’s wearing a pink collar with our phone# written on it. Our other dog is a reddish brown hound/lab mix named Oliver. He has on an unmarked blue collar. Both are super gentle. If you see them Please let us know.

THANKS!
From Beautification Committee
I hate to announce that the Beautification Committee Meeting scheduled for this evening is canceled due to snow! It is being rescheduled for Tuesday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m., same location.
There is no location more beautiful than Lakemoor Hills following a snowfall. I would like to build a snowman…….we will see.

Safety and Security
Perhaps the greatest safety concern for all of us in the last ten days has been getting out of our driveways! But take heart – this too shall pass.
Aside from the snow and ice, a check of the Knox County Sheriff crime map shows no reported incidents for our neighborhood so far this year. A national site (www.CrimeReports.com) allows you to type in any address anywhere in the USA but is not nearly as current as the Knox County Sheriff site.
I have heard of a couple of incidents by word of mouth. If you are a crime victim, please file a report with the Knox County Sheriff. You can reach them at 865-215-2432.
Thanks to those who have posted on this site about suspicious activity. Our eyes are probably the best deterrent to crime on “the quiet side of the river”
Blessings,
Forrest Orr
Beautification Committee
The Beautification Committee Meeting that was scheduled for this Tuesday, February 24, 7:00 p.m. at 2300 Lakemoor Drive has been changed to Thursday, February 26, 7:00 p.m., same address. This meeting is open to anyone interested in making our neighborhood beautiful. I hope many of you will come. There will be bottled water, a snack and lots of great neighbors!
Stay warm!
