LOCATION CHANGE FOR TONIGHT’S HOMEOWNERS MEETING

Due to parking lot being sealed at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church, our meeting for tonight is being relocated to the North Campus of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. It is located right beside CVS on Alcoa Highway in the shopping center. There is plenty of parking and we are having an excellent presentation from the Knoxville/Knox County Emergency Management Agency.

See you tonight,

LHHA Board

DAFFODIL BULBS DUG AND READY FOR PLANTING

May 9, 2016 by Bill Stoess

Our garden club has 200 daffodil bulbs dug and ready to plant. We will deliver them to you for $10/dozen; or if you want to naturalize a large area, you can have them all for $150. These are top grade bulbs. If you want to buy them, call Mary Cartwright at 579-5617 or e-mail your order to [email protected]

You can still dig your own daffodils and lilies for $5/dozen in the garden at Alcoa Highway and Montlake. If you have already dug, please make your check payable to Lakemoor Hills Garden Club and mail to 4000 Maloney. Our digging seems to be greatly outdistancing our paying, so if you’ve already dug please make your payment.

Need Volunteers for Tennis Resurfacing Project

April 20, 2016 by Diane DeRopp

Think spring! Think outdoors!  Think tennis!  But wait!  Our community courts at Lake Hills Presbyterian Church are looking pretty scruffy and are becoming unsafe due to cracks and sand on their surfaces.  These courts are a valuable asset to our neighborhood and we need your help.  Plans are being made to have the courts re-surfaced and we are putting together a committee to help with this worthwhile project.  Please respond to Sue Humble at [email protected] or 679-5139 if you can help us out.  Also, please let us know if you are interested in joining a tennis league and/or participating in a free clinic.  Thanks so much for your interest and support!!  We look forward to hearing from you.

Hummingbirds have been spotted on Lakemoor Dr.  Has anyone else seen any yet?  Looks like it’s time to fill up those feeders.
