Comcast Outage Issues and their lack of response

November 28, 2017 by Randy Kerns

It appears there are ongoing Comcast outages on Timberlake and some surrounding areas.   Wendy Warren is working very hard to get Comcast to respond.  She would like to get a feel for how many houses are affected in an effort to resolve the problem.  If you are having an issue with Comcast service, please call them and open a ticket.  They will give you a ticket number to reference the report.  If you will, please e-mail her the ticket number and your address at [email protected]  She has been working tirelessly to get Comcast to fix the problem however Comcast has refused to recognize that we have an outage and continues to blame customer equipment such as cables and modems to be the problem.

Please join us at the Lake Hills Church on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7 PM to hear the latest about what is happening in our neighborhood.  Our guest speaker is Captain Huff, of Knox County Sheriff’s Department who will bring information about a new security program S.E.E. is being adopted by Knox County.  He will explain how individual homeowners can partner with the Sheriff’s Department to help stop crime.  In addition to this we will hear from the Circle Lake Legacy Park team who will discuss progress on that project.  Natalie Landry, Knox County Stormwater, and Andrea Ludwig, faculty member with UT BioSystems Engineering and Soil Science, will be explaining how we can participate as a community in the planting of the Circle Lake rain garden.

Other highlights will include some exciting Holiday Celebration plans for the neighborhood.

Extraordinary kitten has adopted a new Lakemoor family

October 28, 2017 by Bill Stoess

Adoption is complete and we have a prestigious new resident. The kitten will however be changing its name, possibly to “Heather the Indoor Cat,”  due to a history of clandestine work. Most recently she helped the Catalonia’s as they struggle for independence from Spain. As she said, “I love people… but us Cats must stick together.”
