Thought I would send out an email regarding how the Cell Tower arose and how our acceptance came about.
We got a letter that was sent to about 15 other residents regarding erecting a cell tower in this area. I spoke with the agent and after discussing with him I recommended my neighbors property. Not that I opposed, obviously I didn’t if I recommended them, but I believed they wanted it and I was happy if they had it.
After the company came and looked, measured, and accessed they picked our property. We didn’t realize this until unannounced a lease package showed up in our mail. At this time I reached out to the neighbor we felt was most affected to inform them of the decision at hand. They responded this was better than us selling the lot and a home built there. They had some ideas on aesthetics which we shared with the company and in which they agreed. ( whether true or not it got back to me that a particular and different neighbor which I’ve never spoken regarding this issue said I had been hard to deal with regarding this. The truth is I’ve only spoken to 2 neighbors and our dealings have been quite pleasant).

Referal Request: Garage Door Repair
Hello good people of Lakemoor Hills.
This morning our garage door came off its track and looks to be a bit more than this DIY’er is able to take on.
Does anyone have a go to person on repair and or replacement of garage doors?
Thank you!

Montlake/Alcoa Hwy Triangle
I’ve noticed lately a possible water leak form the irrigation system in the “Triangle”. There’s a constant wet area where you transition from the South bound Alcoa Hwy to Montlake. I stays wet long after the sprinklers have turned off. Just thought I’d pass on my observation so someone could take action.

TDOT Completes Improvements to Alcoa Hwy / Maloney Rd.
After TDOT completed the reconstruction at the intersection of Alcoa Hwy and Maloney Rd., it was evident that a deceleration lane was not possible with existing utility lines. The LHHA was told that the utilities could not be moved for the deceleration lane installed at this time. LHHA requested that additional signage and striping be installed to warn motorists about the narrow shoulder. That work was recently completed, as shown in the attached photo.
Eagles Nesting in Lakemoor Hills?
Has anyone seen the eagles that have appeared along the bluff overlooking Sequoyah Hills Park? We are trying to determine if they are nesting on our peninsula. If anyone has spotted the bird (s) or their nest, please me know. We need to document this to stop a potential manmade intrusion to the neighborhood. Kathy Proctor ksp53@me.com
