This event is very laid back (wear your blue jeans) and there is a lot of GOOD FOOD.
But it’s not in the morning- it is at 6:00 PM with the Concert afterwards- this Sunday!
See you there!
Free Floating Yellow Kayak
good morning…this morning Laura Hutson who lives across from the church saw a free floating yellow kayak out on the river. She feels by now it might be by Maxie’s. She didn’t have a boat to retrieve it but wants the owner to know so you can get it .

Need someone to stay with elderly woman
My friend needs someone to sit with her mother for 3 weeks (5-6 days each week) while my friend works. It could possibly be a little longer. If you know someone who might be interested, please email me at [email protected] or call/text me at 865-405-3810. I can then give you all the details and answer any questions you might have.
Thank you!

Follow up from the LHHA meeting Tuesday evening
It was a large turn out Tuesday night to hear presentations from TWRA and Knox County Animal Control. In fact both presenters told me they were amazed at our turn out and participation.
These were important subjects as we live with both wild and domestic animals in our neighborhood. We learned interesting info about the wild animals that roam our properties and how to coexist with them. We also learned about care for our pets, AC Ordinances and respect for our neighbors regarding our pets.
We will follow up with details on specific items in future post. In the meantime the following is contact info and a link to the Knox County Sheriff’s Animal Control ordinances. If you have issues please don’t hesitate to contact them.

Alcoa Hwy construction zone–patrol needed; restore sign
During the first weeks of construction enforcement was good, and most drivers stayed fairly close to 40. Now–with the most obvious speed-limit-sign taken away, and lax enforcement–most drivers feel free to ignore the 40mph limit.

Are you curious about the wildlife in our neighborhood? What interesting and beautiful animals are out there? What dangerous animals are out there? How can we coexist?
These questions and more will be addressed at our upcoming LHHA meeting by a TWRA Wildlife Management Officer.
Our second presenter is a Knox County Animal Control Officer. He will be here to discuss the care, management and regard to neighbors of our domestic pets . Topics such as:
Lost or Stray Pets
Neglected Pets
Dangerous Dogs
Nuisance Barking
Please come with your questions and concerns.
The meeting is Tuesday Jan 30th 7:00pm at the church
Photos of Wildlife in our Neighborhood
In preparation for the LHHA meeting on Tuesday I have been gifted with some nighttime photos of wildlife in one of our neighbor’s yard. I know you have posted photos from time to time of other animals that you have seen in the neighborhood. If you would forward any photos of animals that you have seen, I’ll add them to my powerpoint of the wildlife that graces Lakemoor Hills and have them on Tuesday night for all to see.
thanks
