Extraordinary kitten has adopted a new Lakemoor family

Extraordinary kitten has adopted a new Lakemoor family

October 28, 2017 by Bill Stoess

Adoption is complete and we have a prestigious new resident. The kitten will however be changing its name, possibly to “Heather the Indoor Cat,”  due to a history of clandestine work. Most recently she helped the Catalonia’s as they struggle for independence from Spain. As she said, “I love people… but us Cats must stick together.”

Ingram the Cat needs a new home

October 27, 2017 by Bill Stoess

This most extraordinary cat was most recently found high in a tree on Velmetta Circle, She was on watch for North Korean aircraft and was prepared to issue an early warning to her new Lakemoor neighbors. This 5 month old female kitten already has a storied history with her previous family. As a young but fluent kitten she taught the family’s daughter so speak french. At only 2 months of age she averted a disaster for the family when, upon smelling smoke, alerted the family so that they could escape before they perished. Later while digging in the family’s backyard, as cats sometimes do, she discovered a large vein of gold and brought unimaginable riches to the family. The family now spends days traveling to their many homes around the world in their private jet but find traveling with a kitten inconvenient. Being a kind and appreciative family they searched high and low for the nicest neighborhood. They found Lakemoor Hills the perfect place to drop their most extraordinary cat.

If you would like to have this amazing kitten for your very own… call  579-5617 and ask for Ingram (if your french is not strong ask for Mary instead).  Ingram says she feels there is likely silver in this area.

New kids on the block

October 26, 2017 by Suzan Bowman

I have noticed three children playing in their yard in the 3400 block of Montlake Drive. This is the Rymer home that was recently sold and now we have new neighbors.  The three little children look to be between 4-7 years old.  They play under a tree near the road on your left as you go west on Montlake Drive.

PLEASE SLOW DOWN AS YOU GO DOWNHILL ON MONTLAKE.  Children in a new neighborhood may not be always aware of the potential danger of the cars and trucks on the road.

Better yet, SLOW DOWN on all of our neighborhood roads.  THANK YOU!

Suzan Bowman

Another motorhome incident

October 22, 2017 by Barbara Houchin

From Ed Jeffries:

Someone driving a large motorhome (perhaps Coachman) hit the side of our Burgundy Chevrolet Suburban this morning, Sunday, about noon. Our Suburban was headed toward the Church from Blow drive and the motor home was headed toward Blow Drive from the Church. Because of traffic my wife was unable to back up to get information from the driver of the motor home. If anyone has information about the owner of the motorhome I would appreciate hearing about it. From past experience I know that repair of these mirrors is expensive but is necessary for safety. I can be contacted at 865-679-6686 or 865-300-4890 or email [email protected].

Thanks,

Ed Jeffries

Lemonade Sale for Puerto Rico

October 13, 2017 by Bill Stoess

Sydney, Sophia, and Sally Tumpson will be raising money for Puerto Rico this weekend.  Come to the corner of Maloney and Blow beginning at 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday, to buy lemonade and raise money for Puerto Rico recovery.   These three amazing girls are a joy to meet even without lemonade.  Their mom. Linette Montalvo (aka. Wonder Woman) will be traveling to Puerto Rico later this month.  Her family and her neighbors are hurting.  Please stop by and pay a generous amount for a cup of lemonade.  Your weekend will be better for your generosity.
